Optimized Sensor Placement of Water Supply Network Based on Multi-Objective White Whale Optimization Algorithm

The optimization of sensor locations in water distribution networks has been extensively studied. Previous studies highly sensitive nodes are usually distributed a certain area, which leads to redundant information the network. This is because these do not consider that impact different when leak occurs nodes. In this study, sensitivity functions were obtained according influence leakage each node on Combined with pressure correlation and between nodes, monitoring range points demand covering taken as objective build an optimal layout model. Taking pipeline network Qingdao example, model was solved by using multi-objective White Whale Optimization NSGA-II. By comparing operation results four cases, it found show better searching ability terms
